UAE National Team will participate in West Asia tournament in Qatar

UAE National Team will participate in West Asia tournament in Qatar this was announce by Ismail Ali Al Banna the President of UAE Hockey Federation on the occasion of prize distributions ceremony of Bahrain and Oman tournament, in presence of HE Ibrahim Abdul Malik General Secretary of General Authority of youth and sports welfare. The first UAE National Team will participate in west Asia tournament in Dec 2013 for that they will attend a training camp in India and will also participate in FIH world league second version in 2014, which is not been announced where and when it is going to take place but the expected date will be between July and Aug 2014.Ismail Ali Al Banna – President of UAEHF said” I am grateful to HH sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and to HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum The vice president, prime minister and ruler of Dubai, it is also an honor for us that HE Ibrahim Abdul Malik the Chief guest of the ceremony give away the awards certificate to players and the officials who had participated in Oman and Bahrain tournament. The ceremony held at General Authority of Youth & Sports Welfare Hall in Dubai. Mr. Abdul Malik and Al Banna presented best goal keeper trophy to an Emirati player Ali Abbas who won the best goalkeeper award in the Arab Hockey championship in Oman, in which 8 teams participated from Egypt, Libya, Oman and UAE. Al Banna thanked all the hockey clubs in UAE and also mention their cooperation and support will encourage the Emirati player to participate in open events with their experience. Mr. Tayyab Ikram the F.I.H coaching and high performance  Manager congratulate the president of UAEHF Ismail Al Banna and his team for adding new national hockey team in FIH Map. Ceremonies attend also by Mr. Khalid Essa Al Midfaa of General Authority of Youth & Sports Welfare and UAEHF officials by Atiq Juma General Secretary, Ahmad Qassim Finance Manager, Mariam Fozan Head of Planning & Development, Fahem Sultan head of Media & Public Relation.
