Overseas Pakistanis come forward during the time of need, Mobisher Rabbani

Dubai based humanitarian Mobisher Rabbani, founder of The Rabbani Foundation, recently visited the flooded areas of Sindh & Balochistan provinces of Pakistan. According to latest reports there are five million Pakistanis hit by floods that have already claimed some 400 lives, ruined tens of thousands of houses and vast swathes of crops and left hundreds of thousands living in camps or simply under tarpaulins.
A distribution of emergency relief items was conducted from Jaccobabad in Sindh province to Jaffarabad in Balochistan. For more than a thousand families affected by the recent floods by The Rabbani Foundation in collaboration with Mankind Welfare Trust UK. Items included nutritious milk packets and biscuits. ‘’Our aim was to create awareness for this forgotten humanitarian crisis. Our work’s emphasis was on the affected children the weakest segment of the affectees. ‘’said Mobisher Rabbani.
The Rabbani Foundation in collaboration with Mankind Welfare Trust UK will be conducting more such distributions in the affected areas in the near future in conjunction with government and non government organizations operating in the area.
